1000 Legni, the first book of the newborn publishing house Dindi Editore, was born as an agile collection of 1000 woods from around the world, directly separated from original wood sections.
Thanks to the work of Gianni Cantarutti, a wood expert, globetrotter, this book, square, easy to consult, tells through the images of his xiloteca all the suggestions given by this “natural” material.
Printed on FSC paper, with low environmental impact, unique in its kind, it catalogues the wood species not only for quality and origin, but also for their eco-compatibility, through three traffic lights – red, yellow, green – which indicate their possible use. An original and easy-to-read volume, dedicated to experts in the field, architects, ecologists, those who are also attracted by the aesthetics of books, the curious, lovers of nature and the environment.
